about

SENSORY CIRCUITS
For children experiencing difficulties with co-ordination, fine/gross motor skills, balance, focus, organisation etc.

This music has been composed to meet the criteria specified for music that is appropriate for Sensory Circuits:

- A tempo of 140 BPM.
- Not too energetic / stimulating.
- No vocals / lyrics.

DURATION: 9:45
The music is divided into "sections" that co-ordinate with the duration of each individual activity of a Sensory Circuit:

- Two 1 minute sections for the ALERTING activities,
- Two 2 minute sections for the ORGANISING activities,

The "sections" are punctuated with minimal drums, however, the ultimate determiner of time should be your stopwatch.

15 second "transition sections" WITHOUT drums occur between the main "sections", allowing children time to move between activities.

The final 3-4 minute ambient section (no drums) is ideal for the CALMING activities, and gradually fades to silence.

The music is in a MINOR KEY (commonly recognised as being "mellow" in mood and tone), while the drums maintain a rhythmic pulse. Hopefully this combination will work for your children, as it does with those I work with; helping them to engage and focus.

The music is free to stream (play) or download, just hit "BUY" and enter "£0", unless you wish to offer a donation, which is always welcome.
